Working with Selema, entrepreneur and Manager of Fansina Bedouin Crafts, we have helped to build a new craft centre which is currently in operation. It has space for the completion, storage, display and selling of Fansina’s products. Embroidered silk and beaded bags are made using traditional patterns based on the sugar bags originally carried by Bedouin men. There are also catering facilities and rooms for educational training.

To provide a new building for the women’s craft initiative

To support the development of an economy for Bedouin women

To support traditional Bedouin craftsmanship

To create an educational centre for women

The craft centre supports over 300 families.
