Description:

Fox Net Computer Centre is a small but busy facility which is used by both local people and tourists. It has long opening hours and provides tuition at various levels.

Purpose:

To help with the provision of tuition as part of the Makhad Trust’s support in raising the educational level of the community.

To support a local entrepreneur

Beneficiaries:

Local male adults and children.

Project Work:

The Makhad Trust has assisted the Centre with the training of 50 male students in the Windows operating system, selected Microsoft applications and the use of the Internet. The courses have stimulated young adults to continue with their general education.

Partner:

Fox Net Computer Centre: the owner-manager, Mohamed Mahmoud and his partner, Mohamed El Sayed.

Status:

The first 25 students have completed the course and been awarded certificates. More students are currently being trained. The Makhad Trust intends to supply additional computers which have been re-conditioned by IT Schools Africa.
